I took some time this morning praying for sweet friends walking through one of those tragedies. You know the kind I’m talking about?
The unexpected.
The painful.
The ones full of question.
The kind where you want to help, and you want to say all the right things, and you want to have all the answers, but you come up short. I was brought to this passage.
Lamentations 3:28 – 30 MSG
When life is heavy and hard to take,
go off by yourself. Enter the silence.
Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions:
Wait for hope to appear.
Don’t run from trouble. Take it full-face.
The “worst” is never the worst.
Why? Because the Master won’t ever walk out and fail to return… His stockpiles of loyal love are immense.
Maybe you are walking in one of those seasons, one of those unexpected life turns, maybe even a tragedy. I am praying for you today as you wait for hope to appear. Hold tight to that promise. It WILL appear. It always does, and as you are waiting bask in His limitless love.
