What if we really believed that He is truly working out all things for our good.
If only we could shift our perspective.
The lost job.
The extra 15 minutes in a traffic jam.
Faded dreams.
The unmended relationship.
The missing car keys.
All of it.
The prophet Habakkuk experienced defeat and disappointment.
Habakkuk 2:1 I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how he will answer my complaint.
Did God prevent Habukkuk from sufferings? No, he provided a birds eye view and fresh perspective.
Your situation may not change right away, nor mine, but when we shift our focus, and deep down know that he is fabricating every detail of our lives there’s a shift.
A shift in our purpose.
A shift in our faith.
A shift in our view of His grander plan for our lives.
He loves us that much to take those things and work them out for good. There’s no reason for you or me to stress, or worry, or overwork, or overcomplicate things, because He is working and I am confident it will be better than anything we try on our own.
